Tony is a Senior Lecturer in Strategic Management and Business Law. His Doctoral research focuses on the resilience of Anglophone students (and latterly employees) living, studying and working in the UK.

Overview

Anthony (Tony) has a proven successful track record in: teaching and learning, commercial business management, programme and project management, mentoring partnerships, course design and evaluation, HR business partnerships, finance and budgeting, talent/career management, continuous improvement, and acting as an SME in Leadership, Management and Business. He has also written and delivered lectures in strategic management, business law, business management, finance, HRM and leadership, and is currently the Masters in Business Administration (MBA) Director at the University of Chester’s Business School.  This experience has been developed both in the Public and Private sectors over the past 30 year working at strategic, operational and tactical levels.  He plans embarking on his doctorial journey in 2016.

 

Background information:  10 years in the international business environment and 18 years in the Public sector.

Personal interests here:  Aside from his academic interests and being a prolific reader, Tony also enjoys multi-discipline endurance racing, surfing, paddle-boarding and rock climbing.
