The Forum for Equality and Diversity will focus on and specialise in research and knowledge transfer activities in the area of diversity and equality in the workplace and within higher education. With the implementation of the Equality Act in October 2010, legislation in the area of equality and diversity continues to play a key role in shaping employment and higher education policy.

The intention is to consolidate the important work carried out in this area both across the University and nationally and provide a forum for debate and dissemination of research as well as enable the pursuit of funding opportunities.
