Academic Regulatory Information

The essential reference-point for the University's Quality Assurance procedures is its Quality and Standards Manual, which includes the Principles and Regulations and various accompanying Handbooks covering operational details.

This may be regarded as binding upon all provision leading to University of Chester awards (and that leading to awards of certain other bodies), with the exception of assessment regulations for research students admitted before January 2008.

For more information on assessment regulations please refer to Registry Services.

This Manual is updated annually by Academic Quality Support Services in the light of amendments approved by Senate (in the case of the Principles & Regulations) and by Academic Quality and Enhancement Committee or Research, Postgrduate and Knowledge Transfer Committee (in the case of the Handbooks).
