Disability Equality Scheme

The University of Chester works to ensure that no member of its community is disadvantaged because of a disability.
Central to the success of the Scheme are leadership and commitment at all levels of the institution.

Promoting equality

Our commitment to fostering an environment free of all forms of disability and other discrimination, while actively promoting equality of opportunity and celebrating diversity, is set out within the University's Disability Equality Scheme and Action Plan.

The Scheme makes sure that the University's educational provision, services and policies meet the needs of all our disabled students, staff and stakeholders, and demonstrates that equality issues are at the heart of the University's work.

Enhancing the learning process

Central to the success of the Scheme are leadership and commitment at all levels of the institution. We work proactively to reinforce the benefits of our diverse student and staff population, and in so doing enhance the learning process and the programmes that we offer.
