Academic Programme

Well-equipped facilities and studio space provide students with a professional learning environment to engage with a balanced programme of professional skills and academic theory within art and design disciplines.

Department staff are committed to providing programmes of high quality teaching and learning underpinned by individual staff research to help you to develop your creative potential and Art and Design knowledge so that you can pursue your chosen career within the art and design industries.

This expertise is key to providing the help and experience necessary to enable our students to fulfill their creative potential.

We have no bias in relation to practice and whilst we fully support students in the traditional practices of painting, sculpture and printmaking, we are also able to help those students who wish to explore the more unusual possibilities available within art and design practice.
