100% Success Rate for Delegates on NTI's 1st P3O® Course

We are delighted to announce that our first P3O® course was a resounding success, with all delegates achieving first-time passes at both Foundation and Practitioner level.  Please contact us for more information about how the Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices qualification can help you and your organisation to run more smoothly.

NTI achieves ATO status for 2 more OGC qualifications: P3O® and OBASHI®

In addition to offering the well-established qualifications PRINCE2® for project management and M_o_R® (Management of Risk), the NTI has recently passed the necessary accreditation process to add two more OGC qualifications to the list of courses we offer. These are P3O®,the Portfolio, Programme and Project Office qualification, and OBASHI®, a break-through in Information Technology thinking which allows you to create a dynamic map of how your organisation works, then identify and value how data flows between your business assets.

The NTI is among the first training organisations anywhere in the world to become accredited to teach these qualifications, and we have already had substantial interest from organisations such as the Police force and major banks.  Contact us now to find out how P3O or OBASHI could help your organisation!

Bridging the Scientific Skills Gap with the Higher Level Skills Pathway (HLSP)

The Science, Engineering and Manufacturing sectors are hugely important to the UK economy.  In the Northwest region, we have huge capability in the pharmaceutical, chemical and polymer technology industries.  The University of Chester Programme will address the skills gap in these and related industries.

For more information, please download the HLSP Event Invitation on the right, or contact Venus Milliken at v.milliken@chester.ac.uk / 01244 512192.

NTI courses added to Foundation Degree Menu

NTI courses are rapidly becoming a popular ingredient in many vocational and academic qualifications.  Our PRINCE2 Project Management and Lean / Six Sigma expertise have recently been applied to developing bespoke modules for the biomedical process industries, the food industry, and the National Blood Service.

M.Sc in Programme & Project Management

This qualification, which will be available to both part-time and full-time students, is going through the validation process at the moment, and is expected to be available from summer 2010.

Programme & Project Management in the Mediterranean

The NTI has been developing business links on the Mediterranean island of Malta since early 2009.  We have already run several successful PRINCE2 Project Management courses on the island, and work is under way to set up academic and training projects with various Maltese government agencies and multi-national companies based in Malta.

NTI, JISC and SOLVS

This forest of acronyms represents exciting new work in the field of Personal Development Plans, e-Portfolios and Lifelong Learning.

SOLVS stands for "Supporting Ongoing Learning in Vocational Settings", a recently-completed two-year collaborative project funded by JISC, and involving Lifelong Learning Networks and Universities across the North-West. The University of Chester was the lead institution for this project, which was managed by the NTI.
