The Sport and Recreation department provides facilities, activities and sporting opportunities for all staff, students and guests of the University on the Chester campus.
University sports teams do battle
By working closely with the Students Union, the department of Sport and Exercise Sciences, the
Grounds and Gardens department and many other individuals, departments, groups
and agencies, we hope to continue to enhance the sporting profile of the
University.
Facilities
The Chester campus has a wide range of sports facilities, all of which are available for recreation use at varying times throughout the week during the academic and non-academic year across both campuses. Our facilities include Astroturf and grass pitches, squash courts, a fitness centre, a sports hall, and a 25-metre, five-lane swimming pool.
