Chester Students' Union (CSU) for the Warrington campus, exists to represent and support students at the University of Chester. As a member of the National Union of Students, the Union is run by students for students and everyone who joins the University automatically becomes a member.
Representation and Support
CSU is run by a team of students who are elected annually by the wider student body and who are supported by a team of permanent staff. CSU is responsible for helping students to make their voices heard and we represent the point of view of Warrington students inside and outside of the University.
Advice and Support
The Student Advice Centre is available to all students and provides free, impartial and confidential advice to students on a range of issues, such as accommodation, health, budgeting, jobs and workloads - anything in fact! This service is available in the CSU Warrington office on campus between 9.30am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday.
Entertainment
At the CSU Warrington, we are really proud of our fantastic bar and entertainment centre - Bar Twenty10. The bar is the centre of the social scene on campus and sees a mix of resident and big-name DJs, live music, karaoke, comedy, quiz nights and big-screen sport.
Retail
On the Warrington campus, we run a CSU shop, selling CSU and University branded clothing, memorabilia, stationery toiletries, various food and snacks along with hot and cold drinks.
Clubs and Societies
Chester's Students' Union is the perfect place for you to start to look for likeminded people who share your interests or who may be interested in joining you to develop new ones. CSU runs over 70 clubs and societies including sports (Warrington football, Warrington hockey, Warrington rugby etc.), music (Warrington live music etc.), and general interest (Warrington drama, Warrington Centre Stage, Warrington LGBT, Warrington circus).
