The CDA has been created to provide recognition for the many extra-curricular activities that you may be engaged in during your time at the University of Chester. It has also been designed to encourage students to undertake more activities in order to enhance their future employability.

There are 3 levels to The CDA which can be achieved by undertaking a range of extra-curricular activities. Each activity is given a points value, with each individual Award level requiring the following points:

|10||CDA - The Chester Difference Award|
|15||CDPA - The Chester Difference Plus Award|
|15 plus Final Assessment Day||
CDEA - The Chester Difference Excellence Award
