The Department is an international centre for specialist teaching and research in clinical and public health aspects of exercise and nutrition sciences. This includes specialism in dietetics, cardiovascular rehabilitation, weight and diabetes management and nutrition including clinical, public health and sports nutrition expertise.

The Department offers high quality postgraduate teaching and research degree programmes delivered by a team of 13 academics and leading researchers and practitioners from across the UK. We offer several programmes in clinical, exercise and nutrition sciences (CENS) focussed programmes covering both acute and public health agendas.
