Centre for Work Related Studies and WBIS is now located at Churchill House,  Queens Park Campus, Handbridge, on the outskirts of the City of Chester.

Churchill House was originally the Western Command Headquarters of the army during World War Two, it was the site of secret meetings between Winston Churchill, General Eisenhower and General De Gaulle.

We welcome you to visit us in Churchill House, but we can also arrange to visit you at our Warrington site.

By foot from Parkgate Road Campus, Chester

Exit the campus via Exton Park and turn right. Continue straight ahead until you reach Fountains Roundabout, where you will need to follow the signage in the subway to the city centre. Once out of the subway, continue along Northgate Street into the city centre. At the end of Northgate Street, continue down Bridge Street into Lower Bridge Street, and cross the bridge over the River Dee. Continue into Handbridge and turn left onto Queen’s Park Road. Continue along Queen’s Park Road and the campus will be on your left-hand side.

By Rail

Chester is well served by the railway network and has frequent, fast rail links to London and major cities in the UK. The campus is a 20 minute walk from Chester Railway Station. In addition to taxis being available from outside the station, a bus service also runs at regular intervals between the Railway Station and Chester City Centre. The campus is only 15 minutes' walk from the city centre.
