Research

John's study and research interests lie in the following areas: history of science (esp. Darwinism); the relations between science and literature; and evolutionary psychology. He is a member of the ILT, the Human Behaviour and Evolution Society (HBES), the British Society for the History of Science (BSHS), The British Society for Science and Literature (BSSL), and The Housman Society.
