Overview

Christine is a Visiting Lecturer in Creative Writing. She gained a BA in French Language and Literature from the University of London, later completing an MA and a PhD in Creative Writing at Chester. Her PhD project comprised the writing of a historical novel, Chimera, and an analytical commentary.

 

Teaching

Christine teaches on the following Creative Writing modules:

  • Understanding Prose;
  • Varieties of Fiction;
  • Research Skills for Writers.

Research

Christine’s research interests include the historical novel, spy fiction and the interplay between science, religion and fiction. She is currently working on a second novel and an essay on Pascal’s Wager.
