Overview

Elizabeth joined the University of Chester in 2000, prior to this she was employed by the University of Liverpool where she began her academic career. Elizabeth's clinical background is in nursing, midwifery and health visiting, where she worked for over 20 years.

Teaching

She teaches post-graduate students, supervises Masters' and PhD students, serves on editorial boards and speaks at conferences and professional meetings.

Research

Her research interests include stigma, social exclusion, teenage pregnancy and nurse education. Elizabeth has co-authored and edited five books and over twenty research papers.
