Nicola Davies

Senior Lecturer

Nicola has been teaching psychology to undergraduates for 15 years and specialises in leisure and lifestyle psychology, social psychology, forensic psychology and also aspects of management and marketing psychology. Nicola is the Ethics Co-ordinator for the department.

Qualifications

Nicola gained her BA(Hons) in Psychology with English from University of Surrey and then an MA in Leisure and Tourism Management from University of Gloucester. She recently completed her PGDip in Legal and Criminological Psychology at the University of Chester.

Overview

Nicola is the Department of Psychology Ethics Co-ordinator and a member of the Ethics Committee. She is also a member of the Families Health and Well-Being Research Group.

Teaching

Nicola is Joint Module Leader for the Research Dissertation Module (PS6001) and Module Leader for Psychology and Lifestyle (PS4017). She also teaches on Social and Individual Psychology (PS5018), Forensic Psychology (PS5012) and supervises undergraduate and postgraduate student projects at levels 5,6 and 7. Nicola will be contributing to the MSc in Family and Child Psychology and teaching Social Psychology on the Masters Conversion Course.
