It represents collaboration between Church and Academy: the Department of Theology and Religious Studies at the University of Chester working with Chester Cathedral and the Anglican diocese of Chester (and with other local churches).
We hold four or more meetings in the year. Guest speakers with national and international reputations are invited to give lectures, and then to respond to questions and comments from the audience.
Our meetings are usually held at the University of Chester's main campus, often in the Beswick building. Others are held in the Cathedral. Most meetings have a door-charge for entry and refreshments: there is no other membership fee and usually no requirement to book, and some events are free.
