Visiting International Students and Fellows

Opportunities for study and research by international students and visiting fellows are available as follows at the University of Chester.

Opportunities for staff from institutions over seas to join the Faculty as visiting fellows

There are opportunities for students at undergraduate, postgraduate and research levels to visit the Faculty for periods ranging from one week to one year on an 'attendance only basis'. Fees are in accordance with the level and length of study.

For example Miriami Iho, a year two BA student from Finland spent six months working alongside a Chester tutor. This was funded by her own institution in Helsinki.

There are also opportunities for staff from institutions over seas to join the Faculty as visiting fellows. Such fellowships must be self-funded. No funding is available from Chester.

For example Yosuke Ohashi received a grant from the Japanese Ministry of Culture and Education to join the Faculty for three months as a visiting fellow in Drama Education.
