 General Dress

Your Graduation Ceremony is a formal event and as such it is recommended that you dress smartly. Casual attire such as jeans, t-shirts and trainers are not considered appropriate for this type of event. You should wear clothing that has buttons down the front i.e. shirt or blouse as the hood of your academic dress is secured by a loop.  If you choose to wear clothing that does not have buttons then please ensure that you bring with you a brooch or safety pins to secure the hood. Staff from Ede & Ravenscroft will be at the Cathedral to ensure that your academic dress is correct before you cross the platform to receive your degree / award.
