Our Aim
The Faculty’s foremost aim is to develop and educate individuals and organisations to enable them to deliver high quality health and social care in a variety of practice settings.
We are one of the leading providers, both nationally and internationally, of a variety of health and social care education and research disciplines, including nursing, reproductive health, social work, community health, mental health, learning disabilities, advanced clinical practice and continuing professional education. The scale of our influence in the health sector can be seen in a number of North West organizations.
Your degree
The programmes taught include bachelor degrees, top-up degrees and specialised masters’ programmes, which are focused on producing flexible and adaptable health and social care practitioners.
There are opportunities to register for a PhD with supervision from recognised experts in their fields. Individual Professors, Readers and Teaching Fellows lead research developments in subjects closely related to practice-based care.
