This Spring, the similarities and differences between healthcare systems in the UK and the USA will come under the microscope during a unique conference at the University of Chester. This exciting two-day event, taking place at the Chester campus on March 22nd and 23rd will bring together practitioners, administrators and policy makers from the two countries to highlight key practices in healthcare delivery and the organisation of healthcare services.
The conference will provide a platform for international academic and practice exchange and learning through presentations and workshops showcasing
innovative and challenging ways of working from both sides of the Atlantic. Key speakers will include senior policy makers and practitioners from the UK
and the United States who will explore potential directions in healthcare.
It will also provide an examination in the areas of mental health, critical care and organisational development. Areas of focus will include:
- Recognizing nursing trends in both countries, (safety, quality care, electronic documentation, high-tech innovations & customer service in health care)
- Health policy options facing both US and UK
