Mental Health and Learning Disability
The Department of Mental Health and Learning Disability's over-arching aim is to improve the care of people with a learning disability and those who have mental health problems.
The team consists of Art Therapists and Learning Disability and Mental Health Nurses, including a Professor of Learning Disability, based over our four sites.
The following courses are delivered through the department;
The Faculty's Pre-registration Nursing provision is delivered by a cross-departmental team of staff, with both core and Learning Disability or Mental Health Field-specific content.
