Mental Health and Learning Disability
The Department of Mental Health and Learning Disability's over-arching aim is to improve the care of people with learning disability and those who have mental health problems.
The team consists of Art Therapists and Learning Disability and Mental Health Nurses, including a Professor of Learning Disability and a Professor of Eating Disorders, based over five University sites including the Centre for Psychological Therapy in Primary Care.
The following courses are delivered through the department;
The Faculty's Pre-registration Nursing provision is delivered by a cross-departmental team of staff, with both core and Learning Disability or Mental Health Field-specific content.
