Health, Safety and Well-being Training

The University of Chester has developed a wide range of occupational health and safety related training courses ranging from short staff, management or director briefings and workshops to longer duration accredited training programmes. We are also able to offer keynote presentations at events.

We have designed our seminars, workshops to explore the legal and business aspects, potential health impacts and practical solutions involved in health, safety and well-being. Our aim is to eradicate the myths associated with health and safety by presenting a ‘can-do’ approach, rather than encouraging the perception of the ‘can’t do’. Through discussion and examination of real-life examples, it is anticipated that course members will be empowered to problem-solve in their own working environments.

The courses can be designed to meet the needs of the work environment whether educational, health care, retail, hotel and leisure, manufacturing or construction settings.
