    Early in 2014 the Dean of Humanities, Professor Rob Warner, invited colleagues across the Faculty of Humanities to vote for their top twenty must-read novels. The overwhelming enthusiasm resulted in the creation of the booklet Twenty Must Read Novels which was officially launched on 12th November 2014.

    Due to high praise from the Faculty's students for the quality of our teaching the Faculty has introduced an Excellence in Teaching Award with the successful applicant being awarded £500 towards their research.
