Arrival and Airport Welcome

The University's International Welfare Officer will make contact with you (usually by email) to find out when you are planning to travel to either our Chester or Warrington campus.

We will let you know the airport collection dates and times in advance, so that you can arrange your flight(s) accordingly. The International Welfare Officer will meet you when you arrive and transport you and your luggage back to Chester or Warrington. You will also be shown to to your accommodation and helped to settle in. If you are due to arrive before or after the stated collection dates, our Welfare Officer will do their best to make arrangements for you to be met at the airport. For students arriving by train at Chester station, similar arrangements will be made. We will be happy to answer any queries and worries that you may have about life in the UK, or about your arrival arrangements. You may contact the International Welfare Officer by email at s.moss@chester.ac.uk or international@chester.ac.uk.

We will also need to know if you have a disability, so that we can arrange to supply special help or equipment, ready for your arrival.
