Our attractive Chester campuses have had nearly £50 million invested in them in the last five years. They now cover three sites in the city:
• Chester
• Kingsway
• Riverside
The campuses are located within a short walk from one of England's finest historic cities and all the attractions and facilities that it offers.

Chester Campus is our main campus in Chester. One of its great advantages is the location- just a short walk from the lively city centre. The abundance of green space, beautifully kept gardens and the original buildings that sit at the heart of the campus, will provide you with an exciting and friendly community atmosphere.
The 32 acre campus incorporates the Universities sporting areas, such as the swimming pool, fitness centre, squash courts and sports fields. It is also home to the University of Chester library, state of the art lecture theatres, modern science laboratories and a range of catering outlets. The Chester University Students Union bar & club and student accommodation is located here to! Other facilities include: computer facilities, chapel and faith room, bookshop, cashpoint and laundrette.

Kingsway Campus, home to the Faculty of Arts and Media, is located in a specially developed facility for creative arts –a 20 minute walk from the main Chester Campus.
It offers a 200 seat lecture theatre, a virtual library with DVD viewing screens,11 state of the art IT labs, outdoor performance space, two catering outlets, dedicated fine art studio, printmaking workshops, sculpture and 3D workshops, textiles workshop, hot room for castings, fine art gallery and exhibition space, sound and video editing suites, photographic studio with processing dark rooms, reprographics room, high quality interactive journalism room, 4 large rehearsal studios including a soundproof rehearsal studio- which is currently the largest of its kind in the world.

This iconic building is located in a prime location in the centre of Chester at one of the city’s gateways (a 20-minute walk or a free shuttle bus ride from the main Chester Campus). It is home to the Faculties of Health and Social Care, and Education and Children’s Services.
The site provides an impressive location for students with extensive, specialist-subject-specific facilities such as health skill laboratories, science laboratories and music and art studios. Other facilities include a library, several IT laboratories, and a café serving healthy food.

Our campus at Warrington is set approximately 25 miles away from our Chester campus and is connected by a free shuttle bus. Warrington is at the doorstep of two lively cities- Manchester and Liverpool. Manchester is only 16 minutes away and Liverpool is under half an hour away.
The Warrington campus which has benefited from £12 million of new buildings and facilities in the last six years is a self-contained 35 acre campus which provides a vibrant and energetic setting for students. The student community is close-knit and welcoming, which creates a lively and dynamic campus feeling, where diverse personalities and interests throve.
The Warrington campus is host to the North West Media Centre and a leader in the provision of innovative creative courses such as TV and Radio Production, Commercial Music Production, Film Studies and Advertising. It is also the base for number of key courses for public services such as Social Work, Youth Work and Support Development. It has strong links with the media world and provides a variety of amenities –from TV and music studios and a range of media production facilities and computer labs to graphic design and journalism sites. The Warrington campus is a 20-minute drive from Media City at Salford Keys- the home for the BBC in the North and national hub for developments in Media industries.
Cat 1251 AM, Warrington Campus’s own 24-hour radio station, is run, produced and presented by students. Warrington is home to Warrington Wolves Rugby League Club- winners of the 2010 Challenge Cup. The Wolves players are an everyday sight on campus as they train here.
