Some courses may have additional entry requirements such as previous work experience, submission of written work or previous study of a particular subject. Some courses, for example those in the faculty of Health and Social Care or MSc Marketing Communications and Public Relations, may require a higher level of English.

Undergraduate (Bachelor's Degree)

Academic requirements

• Ön-Lisans Diplomasi (Higher Technician Diploma) (2 years)

• Devlet Lise Diplomasi (State High School Diploma) and Lise Bitirme Diplomasi (Private High School Finishing Diploma)with an average of at least four (4) may satisfy general entrance requirements. Decision upon application.

English Language requirements

• Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) with scores of at least 51 in all 4 components
• IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each band)
• TOEFL IBT 78 with score of: listening 21, reading 22, speaking 23, writing 21 in each section

Postgraduate (Master's Degree)

Academic requirements

• Lisans Diplomasi (Bachelor degree)

English Language requirements

• Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic)  with overall score of 57 and no less than 51 in any component
• IELTS 6.5 (with no less than 5.5 in each band)
• TOEFL IBT with an overall score of 85 and the following minimum scores in the components: listening 21, reading 22, speaking 23, writing 21

Postgraduate (Research Degree)

Academic requirements

Each application is assessed on its own merits but we do expect students to hold the following:

• Yüksek Lisans Diplomasi (Master's degree)

English Language requirements

• Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) Postgraduate 58 and no less than 51 in any component
• IELTS 6.5 (with no less than 5.5 in each band)
• TOEFL (iinternet) 85  and the following minimum scores in each component: listening 21, reading 22, speaking 23, writing 21
• TEEP 7.0
