Caroline Ford

Acting Head of Department

Caroline teaches modules on both undergraduate TV Production and Film Studies and is the Programme Leader for BA Film Studies. Caroline also leads our MA media provision.

Overview

Caroline started her career in the TV Industry after obtaining a distinction for her MA TV Documentary from the University of Salford.  Caroline made her way up from a Researcher to Producer/ Director, working on a variety of programmes for regional and national broadcasters including ITV and the BBC. She also held the position of Head of Production for a Manchester-based independent company. 

In 2007 Caroline joined the University of Chester as a full time member of staff, teaching across TV Production (at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels) and Film Studies modules.  She still enjoys getting behind the camera and has worked on some projects for the University including a commercial DVD with local Super League rugby team, Warrington Wolves.
