Overview

Maeve is a senior lecturer in International Tourism and Events Management and Programme Leader for InternationalTourism Management programmes. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy with a PhD awarded from Bournemouth University in 2012.
 
Her research focuses on heritage tourism, heritage management, responsible and sustainable tourism, tourism and seniors and tourism ethics. She leads a number of UG modules and delivers on a range of subjects including tourism ethics, customer service, research methods and contemporary issues in events management. She supervises Undergraduate and Postgraduate research including students on Masters, MPhil and PhD programmes of study.
 
In the past, she has taught business ethics, marketing ethics and hospitality marketing at the University of Portsmouth Business School and has taught services marketing and supervised UG research at Bournemouth University’s School of Tourism.
