By Car

From the M62, exit at Junction 11 and follow the A574 to Warrington. After crossing the M6, take the third exit off the University Place roundabout, following signs for Cinnamon Brow and Fearnhead, on to Crab Lane.

The main entrance to Warrington Campus is approximately 100 yards on the left-hand side. From the M6 Northbound take Junction 21 to join the B5210. Go straight across all six roundabouts.

The main entrance to Warrington Campus is approximately 100 yards on the left-hand side, on Crab Lane. From the M6 (Southbound) take junction 21A off the M6 to join the M62 eastbound, following signs for Manchester. Take junction 11 off the M62. Then follow directions as given from the M62.


By Rail

InterCity to Warrington (Bank Quay). London to Warrington takes 2 hours, Birmingham 1 hour, Glasgow 3 hours, Preston 25 minutes. Manchester /Liverpool trains stop at Birchwood, Padgate and Warrington (Central). Taxis are available from outside the station and cost approximately £6/7.

The nearest rail station is Birchwood, approximately 20 minutes walking distance.

By Coach

Local buses (numbers 125 and 49) from Warrington bus station (01925) 634296. Warrington is on the national coach network; National Express coaches (0870 5808080) call at Warrington bus station.

By Air

Manchester International Airport (0161) 489 3000 and Liverpool Airport (0151) 288 4000 are 25 minutes by car.

By Sea

Holyhead and Liverpool both have ferry ports, which are within easy reach of Chester by road and rail. Holyhead is 1hr 30mins by rail or 2hrs by road and has ferries to Dublin in Eire. Liverpool is 45mins by rail and 40mins by road and has ferries to Belfast, Dublin and Douglas, Isle of Man.
