Tickled Events, a company set up by second-year Events Management students at the University of Chester, is holding a vintage themed fashion evening to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Taking place at Cruise Nightclub in St John’s Street, Chester, on Thursday, February 7, members of the public will be treated to a host of stalls on the ground floor of the venue selling vintage fashion and accessories, followed by a fashion show on the middle floor.

All money raised from the event will go towards Cancer Research UK, the world’s leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through world-class research.

Tickled Events, run by second year Events Management students, Alison Kenning, Sophie Cannons, Jessica Skinner-Jones, Helen Cumiskey and Steph Armor, is working in association with West Coast Energy and Unite the Union which has helped to sponsor the event.

Alison Kenning, from Tickled Events, said: “The whole evening will feature an array of vintage style fashion, with the best of the collection heading down the catwalk on our models. It will be an exciting evening with lots of stalls available for people to browse and purchase some of the items worn during the catwalk show.

“This fundraising event is for a very worthy cause so please come along and help raise some money for charity.”

Doors open at 7.30pm and the fashion show will commence at 8pm.

Tickets for the event cost £5 and can be purchased by e-mailing:
