A Chester pub will be transformed into Lewis Carroll’s fantasy world of Wonderland, as students from the University of Chester host ‘Mad as a Hatter’ in support of a local children’s charity.

We would urge everyone to come and enjoy a crazy evening with us at ‘Mad As A Hatter’ and at the same time raise money for a really great cause.

Taking place on Tuesday, March 5, at The Commercial Hotel, Goss Street in Chester city centre, the Alice in Wonderland inspired event has been organised by iNSiDEout Events, a company run by Events Management students from the University.

All proceeds from the night will go towards Miles of Smiles, a charity which organises trips of a lifetime for sick, disabled and under-privileged children from Chester, the Wirral and North Wales.

Spokesperson from iNSiDEout Events, Sophie Easton said: “We would urge everyone to come and enjoy a crazy evening with us at ‘Mad As A Hatter’ and at the same time raise money for a really great cause.

“Each of the rooms at the venue will have different theme, all inspired by the classic novel, Alice in Wonderland. As well as quirky cupcakes, cake-pops and cocktails for sale on the night, guests will be able to dance the night away in the Cheshire Cat room and take part in a raffle with some fantastic prizes up for grabs.

“We would like to thank our sponsors The Flight Company International and 2 Jays Building and Roofing for helping to make this event possible.”

Doors open at 8.30pm and tickets for the event are priced at £4 in advance and £5 on the door. For more information contact Sophie by e-mailing: insideoutevents2013@gmail.com
