Team Reem, a student-run events management company from the University of Chester, is holding an exclusive ‘Viva Las Chester’ event in aid of Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

Taking place on Monday, February 25 at 8pm at Ellies in Chester, guests will be transported to the glitzy lights and sounds of Las Vegas, the world’s most exciting city, without having to leave the venue.

The themed event will enable revellers to try their luck at the casino, take part in a mock wedding and glam-up in a photo booth. Throughout the night, guests will be treated to some great entertainment from a drag act, and a Las Vegas drama performance.

A raffle will be held at the event giving those involved the opportunity to win prizes that have been kindly donated by local businesses and organisations.

The main aim of the event is to raise money for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital to help support and provide care for over 200,000 children.

Lisa Jones, Team Leader of Team Reem said: “We are looking forward to holding this unusual event to enable students and young adults in Chester for them to experience something different. Team Reem will be donating all proceeds to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital to improve the quality of lives for all those children being treated there.”

A spokesperson from Alder Hey Children’s Charity said: “We are very much looking forward to the Viva Las Chester event. All the money raised will be a great help in providing extra care and facilities for children at the Hospital. We are honoured that Team Reem considered us as a charity. From everyone here at Alder Hey, we wish them all the very best of luck with the event.”

All tickets will be sold at £4 in advance and on the door of the event.
