Contraception, Sexual and Reproductive Health

Contraceptive services are now increasingly being offered as part of an integrated Contraceptive and Sexual Health Service (CASH). As a consequence nurses and midwives working within CASH require in-depth knowledge and skills to provide not only contraceptive services but also to promote sexual and reproductive health to a diverse client group.

This module has a cost for the theory component, payable to the University. In addition, there is a further cost for the clinical placement, which is paid directly to the clinical area.
