The Facilities Department is responsible for the management of the University’s property portfolio across all of the University estate and related facilities. The Department is seeking to appoint a full time Administrative Assistant based at the Chester Campus.  You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Health & Safety Risk Manager on a daily basis alongside assisting the Facilities Team in day to day administrative tasks (such as invoicing, equipment scheduling, filing, data entry and responding to health and safety queries) and acting as a first point of contact for Faculty Members, students and staff. You will also assist in providing assistance and administrative cover to the Interactive Helpdesk function (which provides Maintenance assistance across the Estate) and provide administrative assistance to the Heads of Operations within Facilities Management where appropriate.

You must be educated to A Level standard, or equivalent, and have clear evidence of previous experience in an administrative role within an office based environment. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to prioritise effectivelent within a customer service focused role.
