Understanding Fandom

At the end of 2013 Media Department lecturer Mark Duffett published the book Understanding Fandom.

Mark’s book explores how changes in technologies have allowed fan culture to become a central way through which we appreciate such media forms as television and popular music.
 
The book has been selling very well, with the publisher reporting 700 copies already sold at the start of 2014.
