The University of Chester’s Student Support and Guidance department is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Student Experience Officer.

Working as part of the Student Skills Development team, you will have responsibility for co-ordinating and supporting campaigns to promote awareness of Student Experience issues.  A key part of this work is the management and monitoring of the Student Academic Representative (StAR) system in order to enhance the student experience.   You will also work with colleagues across the University to identify retention issues and develop or support initiatives to improve retention

You must be educated to degree level and have experience working in a learning environment. The ability to produce a high standard of written reports and other materials, and to gain credibility and build relationships across the University at all levels are essential requirements of the role.  Knowledge of developments in the Higher Education sector impacting on the student experience and student engagement is desirable
