This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sport management lecturer to develop their career in leading teaching and learning.

The Department of Sport and Community Engagement at University of Chester is looking for a dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic individual to lead, develop and deliver a brand new BSc in Sport Management at University Centre Shrewsbury.

We are seeking an experienced lecturer with a proven track record of academic leadership to take the role of programme leader for sport-related programmes at Shrewsbury. The successful candidate will also contribute to sport-related programmes at the University’s Warrington Campus, including sports coaching and sport development.

You will have a good first degree preferably, in sport management or development, as well as, a masters level qualification. A PhD or a willingness to achieve this within an agreed timescale is desirable. You will have suitable expertise to deliver lectures in sport management and development, as well as experience of teaching in Higher Education. Your base will be at Shrewsbury but you will also spend time in the Department at the University’s Warrington Campus and travel between both sites in undertaking this role.
