The Department of Psychology at the University of Chester is delighted with results from the Guardian’s University league tables 2017.

The department was ranked 7th nationally for students being ‘satisfied with the course’

The Guardian University Guide, in their own words, “carefully combines scores for the aspects of university life that matter most to students” and “firmly focuses on what universities can offer students”. In the recently published tables, the department was ranked 7th nationally for students being ‘satisfied with the course’, having scored 95% for course satisfaction. This achievement places Chester as the number one Psychology department in the North West for student satisfaction. Furthermore, the department ranked as the top psychology department in the North West for students being ‘satisfied with the teaching’.

Undergraduate Programme Leader, Dr Liz Whelen, said “I’m delighted our students gave us such positive feedback. We also came top in the North West for satisfaction with teaching which I think really shows the commitment of our dedicated team here at Chester, who are committed to providing the best experience possible for all of our students”.
