Sabrina Norwood

PhD Student

Sabrina is a PhD student in the Department of Psychology. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Colorado State University and her Master’s degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis from Arizona State University.

Sabrina’s research aims to reduce stigmatized attitudes towards the LGBT population. This will involve experimentally testing whether enforcing new, politically correct language reduces stigma. If, as hypothesized, this does not effectively reduce stigma, Sabrina’s research will aim for a new approach for reduction.

Sabrina is a member of the Contextual Behavioural Science Lab as well as a student member of the Association for Contextual Behavioural Science (ACBS).
