Collaborative Events

One of the most common concerns potential students voice about going to university is that they won’t know anybody.

Supporting and developing students

At the University of Chester we want to encourage students to become confident around unfamiliar faces and support their development in learning, team building and networking.

We are working closely with colleagues across the university to offer a variety of subject-specific collaborative events. These events will be delivered across our four learning sites (Chester, Kingsway, Riverside and Warrington).

Each event will be tailored appropriately to the advertised target year group and provided during the course of the academic year.

Some of our exciting upcoming subject specific collaborative events include:

  • Performing Arts
  • Modern Foreign Languages
  • Law
  • UCAS Timeline and Applications
  • Business and Entrepreneurship
  • Education
  • Sport and Media

Commited to care leavers

The University of Chester proudly holds the Frank Buttle Trust Quality Mark  for Care Leavers in Higher Education.

We work collaboratively with Virtual School leaders and students in care across the North West to provide holistic information on packages of support available and higher education benefits.
