You can submit your poem(s)/stories online, or alternatively you can email f.haig@chester.ac.uk with ‘Pandora’s Box submission’ as your subject line and ensuring you attach your poem(s)/stories as a Microsoft Word attachment.

The small print

Submission is only open to current students and staff of the University of Chester.
Your piece(s) must be original, and previously unpublished.
You may submit up to 6 pieces at any time.
There are no strict word limits but you are advised that, as a general rule, very short or very long pieces have to work harder to succeed. We have plenty of room in Pandora’s Inbox; however, for the annual paper version (Pandora’s Box) space is obviously limited, so we recommend no epic poems, and no fiction over 1000 words.
We will contact you (by email) to inform you of our decision as soon as possible.
All submissions, even those not selected for publication in Pandora’s Inbox, will be considered for Pandora’s Box.
We reserve the right to make minor changes of grammar, spelling or punctuation, but will do our best to contact you first. If more substantive revisions are required, we will always consult you.
