Assessment for each taught module is normally by submission of one or two pieces of work and/or a piece of "in class" work totalling 4,000 words or equivalent.

All assessments facilitate the application of business principles to organisational policy and leadership practice.

A research project, or “dissertation” of c. 12,000 words, enables you to tailor the MBA to your personal leadership development needs or the specific challenges facing your organisation. You will be fully supported and guided during this research project by an experienced management researcher who will act as your personal research supervisor.

This programme will enhance your prospects when applying for senior positions within management as the in-depth academic and practical knowledge gained will be evident to your prospective employer. It also opens up opportunities outside your chosen programme of study as it demonstrates both your ability to learn and intellectual capacity.

Some students have progressed their study at Chester through our Doctorate in Business Administration or Doctorate in Professional Studies.
