CPD Course

This course examines, community, infrastructure, housing and business resilience through the use of case studies and practical exercises in developing resilience plans. Challenges of effective flood recovery, strategies to engage flood communities and the use of Property Level Protection (PLPs) for building resilience will be explored.

What are the learning outcomes?

Successful students will meet the following Learning Outcomes:

Knowledge and Understanding 

1. Understand flood resilience principles and practices

2. Understand the fundamentals of Property Level Protection (PLP)

There is no formal assessment for the course but a certificate will only be issued upon completion of class-based exercise.
