Introduction to Flood Modelling

CPD Course

This course aims to introduce flood professionals, local councils and environmental graduates to the world of numerical flood models. Participants will be introduced to theoretical ideas underpinning flood modelling and be exposed to industry-standard hydrological models such as Flood Mapper (formerly ISIS). Participants will gain hands-on experience of using this models during our dedicated practical sessions which form part of the course.

For a higher level of understanding model calibration, validation and evaluation, participants are invited to join our second day course, which can be obtained for a discounted rate when purchasing this course.

  5. Applications of TUFLOW
