Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDS)

CPD Course

The course covers the why, what and how to do SuDS and provides hands on experience in designing SuDS. The module will introduce SuDS and SuDS design, explore challenges of drainage infrastructure, outline key principles of SuDS and evaluate the role of SuDS in flood risk management. The course will also enable participants to use Landmark Mapping resources to identify areas prone to surface floods and use Micro-Drainage Software for SuDS design.

There is no formal assessment for the course but a certificate will only be issued upon completion of class-based exercise.

Prerequisites: No qualifications required.
