Julie Ruta

Lecturer

Julie joined the psychology department as a lecturer in 2009, and works part-time.  She teaches on the Cognitive & Behavioural Therapies Post-Graduate courses.

Qualifications

Dip OT, BSc(Hons) Health Sciences, Post-Graduate Diploma in CT

Overview

Julie has worked extensively as a health professional in the NHS, Social Services and private sector since 1988. As an accredited CBT practitioner she has her own private consultancy offering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Clinical Supervision and Training.  Julie is significantly involved with BABCP and is the current chair of Manchester Branch.
