Paul is currently undertaking the UKCC Level 3 Certificate in Coaching Rugby League and prior to his appointment at the University gained industry experience with Warrington Community (NHS) Trust in the design, implementation, management, operation and evaluation of a GP exercise referral scheme.

Paul works as a Coach Educator for The Rugby Football League, tutoring on the UKCC Certificate in Coaching Rugby League at Levels 1 and 2.  He is also an England Rugby League Player Development Coach and Head Coach on the Warrington Wolves Cubs and Origins (U12 - U14) programme.



Paul's specialist teaching, in sport development, sports coaching and fitness and health, is at Foundation and Undergraduate degree levels.  His undergraduate teaching includes:

Paul also supervises dissertations at Level 6.
