Overview

 

Prior to working for the University Rob gained industry experience working within a Sport Development role working with members of the community on a wide range of regional and local interventions. The majority of this work centred around the theme of inclusion. Rob is also a holder of the UEFA B & FA Youth Award football coaching qualifications. He has worked with aspiring young players between the ages of 5-21 in a professional football clubs academy. 

From an academic perspective his interests include; Coaching Philosophies, Coaching Pedagogy, Youth Development, Community Development & Coach Learning.

Teaching

 

Rob teaches across all three years on both Foundation Degree and BA (Honours) Degree undergraduate programmes at the Warrington campus. His present teaching includes the following modules:
