Student Support and Guidance

Student Support and Guidance help to create a positive, self-directed student experience by providing support, guidance and development opportunities, empowering students to achieve their full potential in society.
So what do we do? The list is extensive, but includes all non-academic aspects of student life such as:
  • Supporting the residential campus community
  • Welfare information, advice and guidance
  • Counselling
  • Financial advice
  • Support for disabled students
  • International support and advice
  • Student mentoring schemes
  • Volunteering opportunities

In fact, we deal with any aspect of the student experience that helps you make the most of your potential while you are at university, to settle in to student life, as well as helping with any problems that may arise. We can offer a range of opportunities for you to try new things and build your skills.

Based in the Binks Building (Chester), and the Martin Building (Warrington), our offices are open to all undergraduate, postgraduate, full time, part time and international students throughout the term and during vacations.
