The Business Management course provides the opportunity for students to enrich their academic and vocational abilities through application of knowledge to live business situations and cases.

The degree will provide opportunities for employment in a wide range of areas, from finance, administration and supply, to retail, human resource management and marketing.

Studying Business Management offers students a range of practical, theoretical and contemporary modules, which have been designed in consultation with local employers and the professions to ensure that our students have a high level of employability on completion of their degree. We actively encourage students to engage with local organisations to develop their skills and knowledge in a range of working environments. This collaboration can also be seen in the classroom where visiting speakers offer work place knowledge to our students.

Assessment is through a combination of assignments, examinations, group and individual projects, presentations and seminar contributions.

Our graduates have gone on to work for a wide range of private and public sector industries. Their jobs within these industries are equally varied and include:

Some graduates have also decided to stay at on to study a masters level business programme.

A minimum of 240-280 UCAS points from GCE A Levels or equivalent

BTEC: BTEC National Diploma/Certificate: merit/distinction profile
Irish/Scottish Highers: B in 4 subjects
International Baccalaureate: 26 points
QAA: QAA recognised Access to HE Diploma, Open College Units or Open University Credits
OCR: OCR Extended/National Diploma: merit/distinction profile
